AND I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I drop the kids off at grandmas on sunday and have all of monday to clean and have my house STAY CLEAN!!! I can't wait to get away from this crappy Seattle weather. It is driving me nuts. We're half way into june and it has been raining for almost 2 weeks straight. My kids are sick of being inside and just want to play outside. Hopefully when we get back from Vegas, we will return to some decent weather. We want to set our pool up.

I don't know why that is my favorite. I know my dad has a sticker that says that and it just makes so much sense. So thank you dad for having that huge vinyl sticker just sitting ontop of your fireplace mantel waiting for a place to be stuck! It's stuck in my head. :)

I couldn't resist making a pair (or two) of these adorable flip flops!!! I'm thinking of selling these in my etsy store. It's just a matter of deciding what sizes to stock!! I'll be making some for boys too! I haven't finished them yet but will post when they are done!!!

Here is my first pair of flip flops! I used a 1.5" cherry grosgrain ribbon for the bow and completely wrapped the straps with ribbon. I tried them on to make sure they were comfortable and they are perfect. I have a feeling I'll be keeping these for myself. :)

Here are Breanna's flop flop (as she calls them). I used two colors of ribbon to wrap her straps and used a dragonfly print ribbon for the bows. She loves them!

Check back tomorrow for Brayden's flop flops!!!

I live pretty close to Seattle, WA (about 30 minutes) and where I live, it was 80 degrees! Can you believe that? Tomorrow is a whole other story though! Supposed to be cloudy and 60 degrees. I was able to mow the lawns today too! My kids don't have to play in a jungle anymore. :)

Today I made a cute little combo set for my store. Tiff705 (Sarah) made this cute ladybug crochet pattern and let me test it. I decided to combine both crocheting and my ribbon skills! I think my poor little ladybug stuffy needs some eyes though.

Here is my daughter modeling some bows for me. I could NOT get her to sit still for a moment just to take a decent picture of my new bows. This is the best I could come up with. Little stinker, but oh so cute!

Here is by far, my favorite picture so far this year. This is a very rare moment in our house. usually they are fighting or doing their own thing!

One of my favorite style hats to make! This hat is made with 100% cotton in blue and brown. I also have a matching tutu that goes with it!

Here is a custom order for 11 woven headbands and 22 korkers! That was fun to make! I love how it looks like a bunch of flowers!!!!
